Children
and Young People
Children
are welcome to stay throughout
the service or leave during the service as there is a room nearby to
cater for
their needs whatever their age.
For
very young children toys and quiet activities are available while for
older children and young people the Chalice Award scheme can be
provided.
For
children from the age of 7-17 years there is also the option of joining
in the Unitarian Youth Programme which centres on the Nightingale
Centre at Great Hucklow, Derbyshire. The junior, inter and senior
weekends enable children from all the different congregations to enjoy
the company of people of their own age and feel part of the larger
Unitarian community
