Our Minister

Currently Rev John Keggen is our Interim Minister. His previous ministry has included in recent years a six-year joint ministry serving our congregation and that of Matthew Henry Chapel in Chester. Following retirement from full-time ministry John has continued to preach throughout Merseyside and beyond. John lives locally, is married to Beryl, has two children and is a proud grandfather.

A message from John . . .

A very special welcome to you.  If you wish to contact me directly my e-mail address is Jandbkeggen@aol.com

Let me explain something about a Unitarian Minister. He or she is no different than any other member of a Unitarian Church. He or she has no special hotline to God and has no special powers to bless things or people. A Unitarian Minister has been chosen and trained to give a certain expertise in ministering to the spiritual and other needs of a Unitarian Congregation and its members individually.

I see my role primarily as a pastoral one, helping people through the problems of their lives and inspiring them to appreciate the wonder of the miracle of life that we all share.

With all good wishes
John
