Social and Community Activities

The Unitarian Women’s League meets at 2.15 pm on the second Tuesday of the month between October and May at the Connor Suite, Westbourne Hall, Westbourne Road, West Kirby. An interesting programme of speakers and other social activities is arranged For several years now two ‘Classic Charity’ concerts have been arranged each year, raising funds for local charities.

Like most church communities we have coffee mornings, a summer fair and frequent lunches. We also have members who are keen walkers so rambles are part of our annual events. We have even been known to arrange short bike rides and trips to the theatre. On one Sunday in the year we usually visit another Unitarian Church for worship and then visit a local place of interest. In 2008 we will be visiting the Church in Bury and then taking in the delights of the local area as we travel to Ramsbottom on the East Lancashire Railway.
